Rental Terms & Conditions

By booking or renting a vehicle from Deals on Wheels Car Rental Pty Ltd, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Eligibility

  • Renters must be at least [insert minimum age, e.g. 21] years old.

  • A valid driver’s licence is required.

  • International licence holders must provide an International Driving Permit or official translation.

  • The renter named on the booking is responsible for the vehicle at all times.

2. Booking & Payment

  • All bookings are subject to availability.

  • A booking is confirmed once payment or deposit is received.

  • Payments can be made via approved payment methods listed on our website.

  • Prices include standard rental charges unless stated otherwise.

3. Bond / Security Deposit

  • A refundable bond/security deposit of $[____] is required before vehicle collection.

  • The bond will be refunded after the vehicle is returned, subject to:

    • No damage

    • No outstanding fees (fuel, tolls, fines, cleaning, late return)

4. Vehicle Use

You agree:

  • To drive safely and comply with all road laws.

  • Not to use the vehicle for illegal activities, racing, or ride-share services unless approved.

  • Not to smoke inside the vehicle.

  • Not to carry pets unless pre-approved.

  • Only approved drivers listed on the booking may drive the vehicle.

5. Rental Period & Late Returns

  • The rental period begins and ends at the times stated in your booking.

  • Late returns may incur additional charges of $[____] per hour or per day.

  • Unauthorised extensions may result in penalties or vehicle recovery.

6. Fuel Policy

  • Vehicles are provided under a [Full-to-Full / Same-as-Same] fuel policy.

  • Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level, otherwise refuelling charges apply.

7. Insurance & Liability

  • Vehicles are covered by standard rental insurance.

  • The renter is responsible for the insurance excess of up to $[____] in the event of damage, theft, or accident.

  • The renter is fully responsible for:

    • Traffic fines

    • Toll charges

    • Parking violations

    • Speeding or road penalties

8. Vehicle Condition

  • A pre-rental and post-rental inspection will be completed.

  • Existing damage will be recorded before pickup.

  • The renter must return the vehicle in the same condition as received, allowing for fair wear and tear.

  • Excessive dirt or damage may result in a cleaning or repair fee.

9. Cancellations & Changes

  • Cancellations made [insert timeframe, e.g. 48 hours] before pickup may receive a refund.

  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of deposit.

  • Booking changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.

10. Breakdown & Accidents

  • Any accident, damage, or breakdown must be reported immediately.

  • The renter must not arrange repairs without approval.

  • Failure to report incidents may result in additional charges.

11. Termination

  • We reserve the right to terminate the rental and recover the vehicle immediately if these Terms & Conditions are breached.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • Deals on Wheels Car Rental is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle.

  • We are not liable for delays, loss, or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control.

13. Agreement

By booking or renting a vehicle, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
